New Unit Help

So as of late, I've been getting pretty bored with the game. Usually what gets me back into the game is building a new unit and experimenting with their sets, but I've been having trouble deciding on one.

This is where you guys come in. Show me your favourite units (4* available preferably) and the ones you think are the most fun to play around with, so I can get some ideas of what to build. Don't worry about any expensive builds either, as I have pretty much all of the premium skills spare, aside from the B slot Link ones. The only preferences I have is that you don't recommend any of the units that I have already built (Raven, Nowi, and Beruka) or any GHB units, as I always like to try and +10 my main units.

(As a side note, if you want an idea of my usual play style, I pretty much only use random Mixed Teams and Flier Emblem)

Odin is probably the most fun I had with a character in this game. He combines surprisingly good offense and defense, alongside a fairly challenging and unusual playstyle. I know that you said that you don't have the B link skills, but you don't really need link def/res if you have another way of giving him +6 to these stats. The only real requirement imho is CC, because it makes his flexibility go through the roof.

Combine all this with a ridiculous art and a badass tome animation, and you have a winner.

Still not fully built, but Felicia is a great unit. Her refined weapon allows her to take out a lot of units you typically would not consider, and once she gets into desperation/brazen range it's pretty funny how good she gets. I typically run her on a team who buffs her attack and she is VERY good at two things.

1. Bait for mages
2. Offensive sweeper once she hits desperation/brazen

If you run her on a mixed team with Att Tactics buff she will hit 57 Attack when in desperation/brazen range. (once she is +10)

BTW - Mine is +Spd/-HP

Try something like

Soleil +spd -HP
Wo dao+spd
Aether
DC
Special spiral
Atk smoke
Flashing blade

Also works with light breath, for example, Fae +spd -HP with basically the same build

Or the Odin build I offered last night, except using tactics
Odin's Grimoire
Swap/reposition/other positioning assist
Sol
Fortress def/res
Guard or def/res link
Atk smoke
Flashing blade

Or try building a tactics team in which Eirika doesn't give any of the tactics. She can use galeforce,

I have him running with a mixed bulk set and a speed set. I just need Wrath fodder to really start experimenting with him.

A lot of the swords with one or more PRF skills are fun, especially if you make them into weird utility nurses. For instance, you can run Leif -HP with Ardent Sacrifice, Brazen Atk/Def, Desperation, and a healing special of your choice. I have the effect refine Falchion, Reciprocal Aid, Miracle, Fury, and Vantage on M!Marthcina.

They're very fun to use on multi-map battles, but once they max out SP/HM you'll feel like you have to use other units.

Caeda is a very challenging unit to build, and the flier that is most fun to use I think. (Galeforce, of course.)

I imagine Chrom could be fun to use if given the time of day, Corrin M could be a fun support unit on an arena team for a probably green unit.

Please, all these low tier units, try a true intellectual for a change;

Only those who are qualified should protect the summoner, or those whom my liege Corrin chooses. Given my high attack, defense, and resistance, I am qualified to run a verity of builds. I can delete enemy units should you command it, or be a defensive wall that nothing short of an armorslayer could get over.

Gordin is a lot of fun and he has 2 main sets for me he runs. This one is enemy phase which normally has Ignis because I run him with Infantry Pulse.
