The new skills on these Christmas units...
I’m sorry, but Vengeful/Bold Fighter just look absolutely ridiculous. Vengeful Fighter is just replacing Quick Riposte, and helps with Special charge, while Bold Fighter is just a much better Brash Assault.
Brazen Atk/Spd looks like it outclasses Life and Death too. The only exception where LnD would be better that I can think of is Celica, due to the effect of Ragnarok. Besides that... yeah.
I get it, IS wants to release powerful units to convince people to spend more money. But this power creep has gone on far enough.
I seriously hope they have some inheritance restrictions for at least Vengeful/Bold Fighter.

Are we certain about this? I read it similarly to the current description of Steady Breath:
If attacked, unit granted Def+4 during combat; also gains Special cooldown charge +1.
Vengeful Fighter's description reads:
If unit's HP ≥ 50% and foe initiates combat, unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack. Grants special cooldown charge 1+ per attack.
I just kind of assumed it worked similarly. I went back and looked at the trailer, and when Lissa attacks, her special has a 1 turn charge. After it activates and the cooldown resets, the charge goes to 3. Her special is Bonfire, which is already a 3-turn charge.
Maybe I'm just misinterpreting what you're saying, but wouldn't Bonfire then have a 4 turn charge if this skill's secondary effect was similar to blade tomes?
Edit: Just saw your response. No problem, I had the same confusion when I saw the description for Steady Breath the first time.

I saw the Japanese version video. The way they worded the description sounded like"grant follow-up when attacked, BUT..................", so I assumed the last part should be a negative effect. But, looking back at B.Ike's steady breath, the effect are worded the same way.

And just a side note- since Vengeful Fighter has the Special charge effect of Steady Breath built into it, it's going to be much more viable than Steady Breath imo. I can imagine BIke running VF in his B slot, and Distant Counter in his A slot.
And couldn't dragon units that run Steady Breath currently opt for VF instead, and run a better A-slot skill? This is sounding worse and worse the more I keep thinking about it.
Sheesh, this sounds like a pain to deal with...

I'm sure they're just for armored units, at least the B skills; and the A skills still have HP requirements, I don't think we're gonna die.
If someone uses those A skills, then at least they won't be using DC, Swift Sparrow, etc (unless they have it on their weapon), it's manageable even if they're not restricted.

"Vengeful Fighter is just replacing Quick Riposte"
This is where you're wrong. You are entirely correct that these skills are extremely powerful, and moreso than any other skills before (it feels like even Steady Breath got outclassed), but those skills will never, NEVER "replace" old ones.
They are, just like many skills before, released on seasonal units that are most likely extremely powerful by themselves. And during christmas time, no less, where everyone is already having enough plans to spend their money otherwise. A few whale people will be able to farm them like flea and get enough of them for SI, but the average person won't. Just like how there wasnt just ANYONE walking around with Slaying weapons, heavy blade or whatever else strong skill has been released over the year, these skills will remain mostly exclusive to the units they have been released with, and just find their way into the inventory of a few people that have money like hay.
I mean, think about it rationally. Would you sac THIS to get vengeful fighter on your Lukas? WOULD YOU REALLY?!?
