New Rein meta at update: BE READY

Since glimmer's charge is getting lowered to 2 at the new update, we're about to see QP glimmer rein's running all over the place. Sounds like Divine Tyrfing still can't help Seliph any LMAO

????....that will actually have an impact on some units that barely survive thanks to moonbows small scaling

Still can't see much of a use in Glimmer/Astra unless you're fighting an enemy with a lot more HP (think, Trials).

Eh, I think Glimmer is to Moonbow what TA is to other offensive A Skills. Helps solidify damage against already advantageous matchups, but relies on team support more to get past counters.

As someone who uses offensive Sonya sometimes (switch between her LnD3 Moonbow set & her Fury 3 offensive res tank set with Iceberg), I think Glimmer will replace Moonbow, as high res targets are a lot harder to come by, with lnd she already hits most of the game hard enough neutrally to get more use out of the +50% dmg than the -30% res. I'll have to double check a damage calc tho.

Moonbow will undoubtedly remain the preferred special for physical units, however, due to the prominence of armors and other high def units in arena.

I actually lowkey still got some faith in Reprisal. I've come to the conclusion that if you're about 40 HP down, you get roughly 12 consistent Dmg (which also works best on people that aren't being countered, such as Desperation/+Brave/Firesweep users). In comparison, you need to counter someone with 35-40 Def/Res to get the same effect. Since H.Henry comes with it, I was using it a little at least before Iceberg. Seems counterproductive to his average-ish HP, but that 10 Dmg actually came in handy a couple of times with that lower cooldown.

Good! Glimmer will be even easier for my TA Raven Cecilia to tank, probably taking 0 damage instead of ~10.

The Meta is more about absolut counter (high def or high res) than survivability options (using color advantage or HP) to survive.
So Moonbow should still be more effective than Glimmer.

Glimmer is only effective in case foes got high HP and relatively low or middling def&res.
