New book 3 teaser

IS made another book 3 teaser in the video "remembering books 1 and 2" and from the looks of it, Alfonse is either possessed or evil and killed a girl and maybe a guy in the castle. But that got me thinking... Why didn't our own heroes in the castle stop Alphonse?

To me, it looked more like he found them after they had been murdered by someone else, and he was standing shocked over the bodies. The theory I saw floating around was that they were the king and queen of Askr, Alfonse and Sharena's parents.

i thought that too. maybe sharena meant when she said "the light died" her parents

No one has played the Xenologue yet? Loki hints towards the king of Askr, and since Hel is now a character being added to the story, Hel probably ordered Loki to kill the king and queen of Askr, or Hel killed them him/herself. Also, Loki said Sharena has "Death's scythe" over her head. Either that was a foreshadow to her parents dying, or Sharena herself is also a target. Either way, I see lots of deaths happening in Book III, and Askr is the primary target now that they killed Surtr, since the nine realms also appear to be out of whack, most likely because of Surtr's death.

tl;dr Askr killing Surtr was a mistake, and now Death incarnate is out for their heads.

I wouldn't ne surprised if perhaps we get an evil possibly different universe alfonse who is trying to keep Sharena from dying but isn't doing it the right way. Basically letting his despair control him and perhaps loki as well. After all she did hint that Alfonse's sword has some kimd of interdimentional power
