Neutral Lilina, attack +, speed - Mae. Help?

I'm trying to make another mage here I guess and I've got these two five stars and I'm tired of seeing them rotting as level 1's in my collection. I already have a solid Celica and Reinhardt, but I see no harm in expanding my red and blue mage collection. I'm willing to spend some feathers (20k-40k if I find a solid build) to make something happen so give me some ideas. Maybe put Mae's Blarowl on someone else or give Lilina some skills, who knows.

Merge Mae downwards into 4-star copies of herself into a 4-star +10 merge that has a speed boon. Having it as a bane, 5-star or not is a rather severe penalty to her performance as her stat spread just isn't suited to being a slow magic tank/blaster like Lilina is.

Speaking of Lilina I provide you the exact same advice in hopes of merging into a 4-star +10 with +atk and -spd or defense. If you make her a raven tome user, -spd is best.

4-star merges are very easy to make in the long term for f2p players and all get a bunch of extra stats over non merged 5-stars for arena score and they can even do fantastic for GHB, TT, Squad Assault and even Arena Assault. Especially the last because the whole 7 teams are based on your starter team so if you have no merges in that team, you can use a bunch of merges for all the rest of your matches and not face any on the enemy teams.

Thanks for the response. I'll hold onto them and keep this in mind if I get more of them in the near future, and a good nature four star of the respective units.

Blarowl is a solid tome and the recipient should be chosen with care.

A Low-powered unit like Odin could probably benefit well from the tome's ability since he usually needs to rely on his team mates for assistance anyway. Having a speed boon with this is a great way for him to up his balanced defense, get SOME kind of attack at least, and capitalize on his balanced defenses.

Blarblade is probably better, but it wouldn't hurt someone like him since his stats are unusually balanced aside from his attack.

Olwen does benefit well from Dire Thunder, but with her allies and cavalry, she would gain tremendous power, at least 12+ in every stat, with the tome bonus and cavalry buffs. You can play your cards right, but that is a dangerous game and you should be careful. On the upside, she doesn't suffer speed reduction and it could give her the opportunity to utilize abilities like Fury, Desperation, Swift Sparrow, and L&D. It would take a lot of prep, but it sounds like she could be pretty killer.

It would also help Ursula become up to snuff with her speed as well as a great magic wall. She's also capable of receiving 12+ in her stats as well.

Summer Corrin is also notable in the flier team setting as well. She's another good candidate.

Delthea, Linde, and Robin probably perform better without this tome. Delthea and Linde can sweep on their own, and Robin is incredibly balanced in the low-end of the spectrum. I think he should stick with the usual Raven tome.

Your call of course.

I have to admit that Olwen sounds awesome but I don't have a good nature Olwen. I considered an Odin build, I think Summer Corrin would be a great candidate but alas I don't have one, and Ursula could be interesting too. I might wait and see if we get more blue mages and see what I can do.
