Need team building advice.

So for starters, my favorite team is fallen Hardin, grima Robin, V.L. Ike, and Fjorm. However, although it is still a work in progress, I am unsure if they will be their best with the skills that I gave them, or whether or not they will work well with their teammates. I tried to make them powerful and balanced, and I worked with what I had, but I feel that I am missing something. Furthermore, I also own Brave Ike, Ninian, D.D. Fae, Black Knight, Boey Caeda, Shiro, Camilla, Summer Corrin, and Summer Gaius. I'd like to make my current team as good as it can be, and have defence as well as mild to strong offense, but I would also like to know other team options so that I can have some variety. I apologize for such a long description, but I would appreciate any help or advice, and will have pics of my 4 primary units included for critique, please and thank you.

Also, I am aware that some characters, such as fjorm for example, usually prioritize a specific stat. Moreover, I believed res was Fjorms focus due to her res based special. However, because I was trying to make an o.p. balance team, some characters wound up less focused on what I have read that they should have been. Lastly, I thought that because they didn't feel like they fit, that I could simply strengthen their weaknesses and attempt to work around those issues. In conclusion, that is the entire summary of what I have been trying to accomplish with this team.

Having a solid and balanced team is nice and all but the most important thing to ask yourself first is what kind of play style do you want to employ? All of these units can be great on their own but to make a cohesive and synergistic team requires them to function a certain way. It is much easier to build a unit on an individual basis than building a team with units that work well with each other.

I'll start with your primary four you have posted. Everyone except Hardin prefers to function in the enemy phase so stat enhancing skills that work in close proximity is ideal. VL!Ike's Def Tactic will do wonders for all of them because the armor units have high def and can perform distant counter. If you have room for Atk Tactic, it would help cover for their offensive capabilities well, especially Hardin with Bold Fighter. I think the unit with the highest Atk should carry it as your other units will need it more than the greatest damage dealer. Drive skills are also particularly great on mixed teams since they're not class restricted and work well in this team because of their mixed movement. They generally would want to stick near each other. Also amor march can benefit your two armor units so they don't lag behind your infantry.

These are just some of the things that come to mind right now but as you experiment around, you'll naturally be able to discern what works and what doesn't. Best place to test them is of course arena but even other game modes can present other kinds of challenges because they have inflated stats at higher difficulties. And things like TT and CC will require a different set of approach even if you're using the same characters. (i.e. Renewal is a great skill to have when going against modes of attrition).

So does armor march work just once or? Everyone makes it sound great, but when I read it I swear it just let's them move two spaces in the first turn and then back to 1 every other. I was considering just sending my armor units together with skills that would make them move around each other in order to make up for their slow movement. I even considered something as silly as that move that pushed your unit and then giving the other draw back. I've been trying to use their slots for pure offense or defense and find another way around that. But if armor march is better, I may just go with it and try to make a near full armor team, maybe with a Ninian or something.
