need help with ephraim

have 2 legendary ephraim atm, one being spd+ hp- and the newer one being atk+ def-. while the first one isnt bad boon/bane. ephraim doesnt gain much with 30 spd unless built with spd investments. the newer ephraim has amazing atk but his defence takes a hit. can be mitigated with his sturdy stance but whats ur opinion on whats better to use
