Narcian Weapon Refinery Concept

Runeaxe
MT: 16 Rng: 1
Base Effect:
Heals 50% damage dealt (Includes additional damage from specials. Stacks with specials like Sol)

Refine:
Adaptive Damage (Calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res)

[This is supposed to be an axe version of the Runesword Narcian had in FE6. The healing would have to be toned down, because healing 100% damage would be overpowered. The refine references that the Runesword can deal Physical or Magical damage depending on how it's used.]

What do you think of my concept?

It'd be hilarious if he got the same weapon as Titania.

It'd be cool for him to have a new weapon to help with his low attack, and I think the healing would be cool, but maybe only heal when his Special activates? That way it can help him with his survivability (and his decent defense).

Not sure how I feel about the adaptive damage, to be honest. That seems to be the answer for everyone, and I don't think having so many units with adaptive damage is a good thing.

I see. I was considering his healing only when the special activates, but I wasn't sure. Also from what you're saying, maybe a Wo Dao Refine would fit.

This is why I ask for other's opinions on it first before making it my final concept.

Thats borderline broken. By no means will it make him go past tier 3....but the built in sol is ridiculous enough without having adaptive dmg.

[In before the Prf Weapon is just a 16-Might Triangle Adept weapon.]

In all seriousness, this seems like a really cool idea. Narcian is very underpowered compared to the other GHB units, let alone the rest of the summonable Heroes. While I think that he can run his Emerald Axe+ well, he really needs something that brings him in-line with the newer units rather than being just a physical Blue unit check. These effects are quite powerful--but on someone with such a balanced stat spread as he, Narcian would become quite good without being broken.

He'd become incredibly broke with this refine, to be honest!
The 50 percent damage heal would have to be on his special exclusively, and even then it would have to be toned down to around 30%, most likely. Adaptive damage would be very strong on him, especially with a sustaining weapon.
