It's possible, I got 6 total from nearly zilch orbs before his banner, it's all a function of the last banner you started stocking up orbs from, or how much you're wanting or willing to spend.

25 copies of Surtr in total, totally possible with free orbs but man, this guy saved a lot of them and spent then on Surtr alone. I don’t even want to know how many orbs it took him...

Yep Surtr took a mode that had potential to be fairly fun and single-handedly turned it into a chore. Even if you have no problem dealing with him, he's still not fun to play against - he takes no thought, no creativity, he's just an annoying brick wall needing to be smashed... not fun.

Yeah, absolutely. It’s very boring and annoying to deal with him...and all his twin brothers. I don’t really want to make an anti-Surtr AR Team, that’s just dumb.

Also: I’m in Tier 14, not that high I guess, so what the hell.

Ironic I just made a complaint about Mythical heroes.

I do want to ask though, where are you seeing this? More specifically, what rank/tier are you? I'm roughly in the top 2000-2500, but I've never seen more than 1 Surtr at a time.

Build up a red blade tome user and Surtr won't be much of an issue. Either that, or the more expensive route of BF on any red or green armour unit with a special like Luna. M!Grima does me wonders and I've never had to worry about a single Surtr.

I’m in Tier 14, not even close to 2000-2500 as I just play randomly and damn, those Surtr caught me off guard.

I should definitely build a strong red tome (mainly because I don’t have one) but building an anti-Surtr is so...sad.
One Surtr is not that big of a deal, but FIVE. Damn.

I'm guessing you lost with that team you chose. Laevatein could maybe take on 2 Surtr's in 7 turns, but not 5. You'd need a couple red axebreaker mages and a dancer, or one red mage and 2 dancers to beat that team.

Yeah Laevatein took two of them then I just surrendered because it was just impossible with that team. I don’t think I need to build a specific team to deal with a Surtr only team, unless I encounter more...and I really don’t want to lol.

Honestly this mode died after it came out. It’s prettt much as repititive as arena but just harder to win. It’s awful. The only reason I don’t care about the change is I didn’t care about the mode. Guess they aren’t gonna bother to fix this one either

The Surtr thing can be fixed with something as simple as limiting the use of same heroes. One copy of each hero, no more doubles etc and that’s it. Maybe they’ll do that one day, but Surtr probably gave them so much money I don’t think they’ll even consider it.
