My take on Blue Flame

Being a sort of "Bond" special, I heavily consider it's drawbacks. It means it narrows down to a more specific kind of playstyle (very likely Enemy Phase units). And if you think about it, 25 Dmg off of special isn't as crazy as it sounds on first sight. A lot of really sturdy people whom easily reach defenses in the mid 40s can acomplish a similiar damage output with their respective Bonfires or Icebergs, and without the drawback of being stapled onto someone. Ignis/Glacies can go even higher than that, and they don't tend to struggle with access to things like Slaying Weapons, Breath skills and the like.

People seem to be mentioning that's specifically good on units that have neither that high of an Atk or defenses to begin with, kind of like Luna/Moonbow (except this Dmg is garanteed). But I think it's drawback is something to really keep in mind, considering a lot of these units want the flexibility of going solo.

tl;dr I might've jumped the gun a bit too quickly. It's only real advantange, to me, is Arena scoring of 500 SP...and it helps it looks so flashy, at least?

Advantages: probably looks otherworldly cool with Odin's Grimoire
Great with Noatun+eff, which is probably one of the most important users.

Disadvantages: *insert whale noises*
Slaying+ignis breaks even with wo dao + blue flame at 44 def so by 40 def it's close and probably preferred for flexibility of positioning.

Lowkey thinking of getting it for someone just because it looks cool...lol. At least it also helps with Arena scoring, which somewhat helps now that I've access to a +5 Libra and +2 Marisa (for example). In my Marisa's case, I might've subjected her to this in the first place considering I gave mine Spd/Def Bond.

I should probably just save orbs. :D
