In my case It's getting harder to get 5*

Since the second last legendary banner my luck is getting worse and worse. Every banner I try pulling I get at least 4,00% pity before getting a 5*. That's cca 90-100 orbs before a 5*.
Before that and since I started playing 5 months ago, I was regularly getting at least 2-3 5* per week, so I had something to do in the x2 sp weekend. My estimation is that I was getting a 5* every 20-40 orbs spent.
My question here is:
Do you think that the longer you play the less 5* you get, like that it is intentionally made so by the system?
Or you think it's just random (how it should be) and I am just in a less lucky phase (which is going on for 2-3 months)?
Or maybe I was too lucky at the beginning and now it's normal?

Eh 4% is normal, you know? Maybe you got too used to being lucky and pulling things with less than 3.5%, but welcome to reality.

i have 4,75% on the new year banner rn.. i just wanna get a 5* already so i that i can stop summoning on that cursed banner. dont think ive ever been this unlucky since the nohrian summer banner lol.

I know how it feels. I had 4,50% on NY, got ny.azura with -atk. Hope dies last!

Don’t even get me started on the Nohrian summer banner ? Xander can go F himself. I never did get Elise despite the hundred of orbs I invested into green

In my case it's a bit the opposite, since the start of the game i didn't have any luck in summonings always reaching over 4% pity rate before getting a 5*. My most unlucky banner war the Path of Radiance one, i had a 6% pity rate before summoning nephenee, oscar and elincia in the same session. After that banner i got pretty lucky summoning 5* at 3.5% and got many 5* free summons

Luck comes and goes, I’ve been incredibly lucky on the Radiant Dawn banner and the last legendary banner, but had terrible luck on the NY and Xmas banners, even worse luck on the Halloween banner.

I think one of the problems for long term players isn’t reduced luck, it’s the fact that you have so many units that you literally 90% of the time only want the banner units and nothing else. Although I had great luck on the RD banner, I’ve stopped pulling on it now after the very last 5* I got was a Rebecca!!! What the F???

Luck is just a high probability that you get something you want. Actually, there is a little difference in chance of getting a specific hero, but these are really small numbers and they don't really affect that much. Luck comes and goes, but it never fully disappears. Keep on going! It will eventually come back like it happened to my best friend an to everyone else I know, including myself.
