Is my Brave Hector Viable?
I pulled 2 Brave Hectors during the CYL 2, but I got kinda disappointing results. For one, I got +RES -ATK, so that is 100% not going to work. However, I got another one a day later that is +HP -RES. I got a boon and a bane for neutral stats. So, I basically have a Brave Hector+1 with IVs of +HP and +RES, with the default skills. Is this BHector good enough for me to use?

Hector reaches 43 defense on enemy phase at neutral. He's a quite good physical duelist, but really yeah, strong red armorslayer weapons can really hurt. That goes for pretty much every armor though, don't let that deter you too much. But if you're looking for a character that sits there and doesn't die to physical attacks, then Lukas is a solid choice. He can reach defense levels in the 60s. However, I'm surprised nobody mentioned this, you can run a Omnibreaker set on Hector to salvage him a bit. His bulk is high enough to survive 1 hit from most characters in the game.

Lolwut. 100% not gonna work? Even with 50 Atk, he's gonna nuke everything with Ignis anyway because of his high Defense. This is also pretty consistent with it being only 3 cooldown and with the addition of Bold Fighter. Hone Armor is also a thing, so his Attack will still be 56 when buffed.
I would personally take +Res -Atk because he actually has really good magical bulk with 31 Res (bolstered to 35 with Ostian Counter, 41 with Fortify Armor). He has a superbane in Resistance, so don't take your -Res +Hp copy unless you don't care about Arena.

BHector is a great character use. He can tank red (maybe some blue) mages with those ivs, and he will be able to tank mostly all physical units. I don't know why people are messing with you, but he really is great. Just run him on armor team with Ward Armor if you can.
