My barracks are always full. How do you decide who to get rid of?

I am such a hero hoarder, it's a little embarrassing. "Yeah, I'm probably never gonna build a Raigh, but he has rally attack, better keep those seven copies of him around, just in case." I have 662/665 heroes in my barracks right now, and knowing me I'm going to have to expand again once the legendary banner hits, and as an f2p I keep thinking of all the other heroes I could've summoned with those orbs. Anyone have any tips and tricks for how they keep from holding on to unneeded units?

I don't get rid of anyone anymore. If I'm out of barrack space, then I merge units, or increase space.

Wow can’t relate I’m only at 117 more than 90 being five stars. Whenever I get a unit I don’t want / has no use to me I send home IMMEDIATELY.

Since the refinery update I very rarely send anyone home. I do merge a couple of units I dislike for their art. Other than that I keep expanding like you. 1 orb per expansion is a pretty good deal.

I give all the units I like all the skills, just in case I want to change things up later, just so I dont have those fringe skill units clogging things up.

I merge a lot of not-great 4* heroes, if they don't have good skills.
At least they can be used on AA/Squad Assault.

I only have 460 spaces. While the spots do fill up quick, I end up purging about 100 before the next big banner I want to roll on. When full, I usually have a skill inheritance party then send a bunch home to make room. I just send home units I know I’ll never build and/or have no use for skill inheritance
