From my last topic about [Possible Refining Ideas], only Eliwood seems reasonably balanced and the other three seemed unreasonably strong. So I will give a fair reasoning for the next set of possible refinements for currently pre-existing units in FEH.
-----
Lyon
Naglfar
Grants weapon advantage against colorless units.
Ref: Grants Odd Atk Wave 3
Lyon can either become independent or be supportive of his allies thanks to built-in Odd Atk Wave 3. His Naglfar grants him Atk+6 on every odd-numbered turns, making him a huge threat against Green and Colorless units in general. This also complements well with Eirika's refined Sieglinde.
-----
Cherche
Helswath (New skill)
Accelerate special (cooldown-1).
Ref: Grants Wrath 3
All of Cherche's artwork depict her wielding Helswath. However, despite never actually wielding it in the main game or in Heroes, this seems to be an iconic visual for her. And whether or not Cherche is related to the Divine God Neir, the bloodlink to this weapon has waned over time. And by the time in Awakening, this allows Cherche to use it freely. This weapon is identical that of Berserk Armads and since Flying units cannot inherit Wrath, this makes more sense for Cherche to have it.
----
Palla
Mercurius (New skill)
Reduces melee foe's first attack by 30%.
Ref: If foe uses sword, lance, axe or dragonstone, grants Atk+6 during combat.
Surprise, surprise. It's Palla. This weapon reflects to Parthia's refinement where it only affects melee combatant instead of ranged. This gives Palla much more needed power when facing against many melee units in general, especially since she has well-rounded stats.
-----
Robin (Male)
Robin's Primer (New skill)
Grants weapon advantage against colorless units.
Ref: If an ally is adjacent to unit, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 during combat.
Robin's Primer may look identical to Robin's Thoron tome, but it actually shoots a ball of fire instead. Regardless, since Robin is all about bonding his allies, his refinement makes more sense for a unit like him. Robin essentially gets a 14 Mt Raventome, similar situation that of Lyon, except Robin is a Blue unit, so he can leave a huge dent in powerful units like Ayra, Zelgius and so forth.

And that's it for now. Only one unit with a native weapon gets a refinement, while the other three acquired new weapons in order to get a refinement.
