which dragon looks better and why ( this is un-merged and neutral IV's)

If we are going off of just neutral unmerged stats then Kana is the better dragon thanks to his better atk, res and bst. Then when thinking about ivs or merges Corrin becomes the better dragon, because she can have 37 spd and become +10 much easier. They both have their strengths and weaknesses.
Unmerged with neutral IV's, M!Kana is definitely better. 7 more total stats, and generally a better stat spread makes him preferable when it comes to unmerged. As well as native access to Water Breath, Brazen Def/Res, and fortify dragons, he can be a great mixed tank and support on a budget, so that's a plus.
However, (You probably already know this) Corrin has much more potential as she can have IV's and merges. But if you don't want to put much investment into her, definitely go with M!Kana instead.
