Mirror or Sturdy Stance?

My male Grima has both Mirror and Strudy Stance learned and I'm wondering which will be better for him

Sturdy, but only because I like to optimize. The extra 4 Def goes a long way to keep him physically BUFF, whereas the additional 4 Res won't be as useful imo since he will still die to green mages unless they don't activate a special, and/or don't double.

To clarify, if he has access to a +6 Res buff, (fortify or tactic) then the mirror will be a better choice to keep him at a strong 37/37 Def/Res assuming he is buffed by only Res tactic.

If he is buffed by a fortify (meta) skill, then use the one that corresponds to whichever threat is more dangerous, (Naga/any Tiki vs. Falchion)
