Mini Aether?

A guy said something of Wo Gún + Healing skill is something like a "Mini Aether", and it sounds coolio. It would be even cooler with Wrath.

The idea is better with a weapon like "Nameless blade" or "hauteclere" since it has slaying + wo dao effects it makes things easier.

...Did you really sacrifice a limited 5* exclusive unit to give to your libra the same exact weapon?

Report

Yeah. But I take it having fun is a crazy people thing.

I think it's better than keeping characters just because they're "limited". What's the point, if you're not going to use them and are giving to your favourites either way?

I tried it on multiple units, but I got the largest amount of playtesting on Nephenee with wrath + harmonic lance and wrath + slaying/dauntless lance.

The problem with this build is, that it doesn't deal any additional damage and the +10 or +20 from wrath-like skills sadly isn't enough in cases where you are fighting a tanky unit that you would otherwise erase with something like bonfire.

So, it's a pretty efficient way to heal vs low def heroes against which you'll deal lots of damage, but it's nearly useless against hyper tanks.

I hoped the damage from wrath-like skills would be enough for baby aether to become reality, but that's sadly not the case. It has a pretty cool synergy with effective weapons tho, since those deal a lot of dmg against specific enemies, which results in a lot of health back.

It requires a slow tanky unit so you can proc it twice a battle for a guaranteed 20 dmg on an enemy.

Michalis is really good with this. But his lack of wrath/steady breath really sucks

I had my other Libra do Wrath + Wo Gún and he oneshotted Ayra (countertriangle). If he can do that against a moderately bulky Red, I'm sure it's feasible against his own colour, and let alone at an advantage.

It can definitely be useful sometimes. Noontime + Wo Gun helped my Titania tank Ursula and Robin infernal for the cav-only quests. But, it doesn't really do much damage or much healing. I wouldn't use it as a unit's normal build.

Sorry to say that but I had baby aether since Joshua/Marisa releases. Don't think wrath was available when Joshua came but whatever.
Back then it was called completely useless but I loved the playstyle.
My +spd Karla with wrath and Sol and fury was the absolute monster with it as she just killed enemies and staying alive :)
Stopped using her as my main sword user to come up with a bit more versatile. Still on tricky maps I let her have a little bit of fun

In what way is it useless? I basically had Libra solo Takumi Infernal because of Sol/Noontime. He also would've completely done with Jamka Infernal, but the Armour was the only one that was way too tanky (literally needed two Aethers and then some to kill...).
