Micaiah Special?

I managed to draw a +Res/-Def, which I think is one of her best IVs. I'm trying to decide between Moonbow, Iceberg, Glacies, or Glimmer.

Note that I'm a budget player, so no warding breath etc. will be used. I already used my Res ploy fodder, so I'll be using the Res ploy seal for now (no Brash-Assault Desperation shenanigans).

Gamepress recommends Moonbow, Gamepedia recommends Glimmer, but both assume +Atk. At 41 res with Thani I think Iceberg and Glacies should be considered. I already have FRobin (the green mage) to counter all non-Sigurd cavalry.

Ranged can't have Breath skills...
Run Distant Defense, Quick Riposte if available, or Bowbreaker, Res Ploy, and Res+3 or Distant Defense
Run Glacies for nukes, or more practical Iceberg damage

Since I'll probably be using the Res Ploy seal rather than C-skill, any suggestions for C-skills? Or is it more worthwhile to go Threaten Res 3 and Res+3 seal for bulk and 3 Glacies damage/2 Iceberg damage? Is Fortress Resistance 3 worth considering?

Another Ploy. Something to help the team. A hone or spur or drive, perhaps.
47 res on Defense without res seal is 23 damage, while with Glacies its 37 damage.
Threaten's also suck in a way due to their short range
Fortress Res hurts her lowish attack, so no.

U say u dont have res ploy fodder...but do u still have atk ploy (oliver) fodder.

Really do recomend u stick to the BA set. She doesnt really need res ploy imo. Atk ploy allows her to still do her job as a mage check (rein). While providing more utility than res ploy...

As I mentioned in the original post, I have FRobin for non-sigurd cavalry (including the Reinhardt), so I would like the build to be slightly more anti-armor and anti-mage, if possible. Micaiah should be able to easily tank mages with the res, so I'm a bit more concerned with player-phase than enemy-phase, so Atk Ploy would basically be for support only.

I'll probably go with Brash-Desperation. I like to use both Mae and Shanna as fodder simultaneously for a standard mage build of Draw Back, Iceberg, and Desperation 3.

Ba is indeed the premier build for her. And you should go for fury as it will allow her to crack through wary fighter armor units. Once ba is set up the special becomes less relevant to her so she should stick to lower cooldown specials like moonbow or iceberg.

And like I said...she doesnt need res ploy once has BA set up so atk ploy will serve you better.
