Micaiah: Spd Ploy or Res Ploy?

So I finally succumbed to my temptation to try to summon for a Micaiah with better IVs than my current one (which is -ATK +HP... seriously, anything is better than this). I managed to pull a +SPD -DEF one, who I plan on switching over to. Now I have to decide between a Spd Ploy (have an extra Saias) and Res Ploy. I know they're both seals but her Seal slot is for Distant Defense. I have weighed both of my options, and am currently leaning towards Spd Ploy and just merging my old Micaiah into my new one.

SPD PLOY & MERGE - Currently leaning towards this one. This skill is very useful for Micaiah's team because it relies heavily on Speed. My OG and Brave Lucina appreciate getting to double more often, so the -5 Spd debuff is amazing for them. Spd Ploy, in some cases, helps Micaiah avoid crucial doubles. From an offensive standpoint, it's practically useless against anyone but armors because of her low Speed.

RES PLOY - This skill is pretty useful (but selfish) to Micaiah herself because she'll do way more damage, but is pretty pointless to the rest of the team due to them being melee. Successfully ploying most cavalry and armored units usually allows Micaiah to one-shot them. This gets even scarier when she has Iceberg ready.

So, which one should I go for? Should Micaiah support her team, or be more independent?

Take the fact that I'm building her defensively in consideration.
Thanks!

Spd Ploy is better for support and to help Micaiah with her 31 spd to double.
Res ploy would pair her well with dragons to deal more damage.
I’d say Spd Ploy but the choice is yours

Neither tbh. I say atk ploy so she can still tank and give her a BA desp set. Its what she was made for tbh.....

Even with 31 Spd with a boon, Spd Ploy would only be useful against slower units in a rough 27-31 range, if you intend on using it to try to double that is. It's not a terrible idea if you can get that merge project rolling, though.

Res Ploy would be more consistent since it goes well with her solid base Res and Atk, as well as boosting damage potential since her Prf tome's effective damage scales better the bigger her damage is.
