Mia

So I'm a little torn between Swift Sparrow/Desperation and Fury/Wrath on my +1 +spd/-atk Mia. I'm just not quite sure which is honestly better as both seem like they have solid merits? And given how Mia is my absolute favorite FE character I do want to try and use her as best I can. Also when will we get Ilyana or Rhys in Heroes as those are two of her main supports in PoR?

This choice isn't easy to make, so I'll state the benefits to make it easier.

Swift Sparrow/Desperation - Mia already has +10 special damage from Resolute Blade, and already does a ton of damage with Luna. With this combo you can initiate one combat then have her erase anyone else who she can double in consecutive player phases.

Fury/Wrath - Grants Mia +20 special damage with Luna, and is still consistent thanks to Flashing Blade seal. Might be a little overkill depending on the situation, but it is satisfying to one-shot blues. However, Mia doesn't have a lot of HP, so Fury and combat damage will wear her down quickly. It will activate Wrath quicker, but what if she has low HP, doesn't have her special charged, and won't survive the next initiation? You don't have the insurance from Desperation, so you might need to wait out a few turns to preserve her HP and charge her special. But there's still a chance that she doesn't outright KO her opponent, and she'll get KO'ed in return (this is probably rare, but still).

TL;DR: Swift Sparrow/Desperation is more consistent. Fury/Wrath can make numbers fly with specials but is reliant on it actually being ready.

Corneliuz is pretty spot on. What IV’s do you have again MrShinyGyarados? Think she was also at +1 correct?

Wouldn’t hurt to play around with kagerochart.com and see the results (even though the simulator has you face everyone with vanilla builds, it’s still somewhat useful). If you want to eventually work towards max merging her eventually, I’ll explain how my build works. I use Resolute Blade/dual rally/Aether/DC/Wrath/Odd Spd Wave/Flashing Blade. In arena, when i initiate the first attack with her, she will get hit back once and kill that unit with her second strike, usually taking avg 15 damage or so getting her into Wrath range while also having Aether charged up. The next fight, she will KO with Aether and just about heal up completely, and could repeat this process over and over essentially. She doesn’t need the extra stats from an A slot skill to be effective at least in my opinion/experiences. But between your two options, why not try em both out? It’s fun to mix it up and get a really good feel for each until you get that feeling of “perfection” on how you want her to play according to your preferences/playstyle
