Merric's fate.

Poor Merric manages to piss me off even when I never got pitybroken by him. For some reason he keeps showing up multiple times just when I'm looking for more Sorens to merge. Usually I just send him home, but today I found one +Atk/-Res Merric who managed to survive my wrath. A perfect one. Hm. Adult Tiki is who I'm going to refine once the update comes out, but do you think Merric's refine will save him from doom or have one ready for refine ?

I have a +Spd/-HP pity breaker Merric in my barracks that I never got rid of, so I'm hoping his refine will be good and/or fun.

I got pitty broken by him a couple times. It has a chance of making him semi-viable if it's a really good effect. But not likely :/

Since i merge all the 4* character that i have no use i ended up with many 4*+10 units, and Merric is one of them, if his refine is somewhat usefull i'll spend 20k feather to unlock his Excalibur

I'm hoping they expand on his niche as an anti-flier mage instead of completely overhauling Excalibur like they did with Brynhildr. Merric was one of the first units that I 5* promoted when the game first launched, and I'd like to use him more in Arena Assault etc.

Personally I'm hoping for Close Counter or adaptive damage like Felicia's Plate, but really I have no clue what they plan on doing. I'd say hold onto your +Atk Merric in the off-chance they release a really great refinement for him.
