If you want to use him, i say just fine another merric with better iv and promote. If your boon is def you can actually still use him but res is meh. And i don't think he have any good skill for fodder.

Nope, this is literally garbage. Merric himself doesn’t have much to offer in terms of fodder or usage.

I hope you haven't killed him yet.
Just turn him into raventome mage with TA3 and even atk bane is fine. +res for that is nice he will have more chancess to duel blue mages.
