Merging question

I've looked around and never found any answer. When a unit is +10, can they still be merged if you wanted to change their IVs for better ones? I wanna know for a potential silly build in the future.

Someone asked this question a while back, and the answer was yes, they can be merged to change their iv(never tested it, but someone said it on here)

Just tested it, the game will let me merge my 4*+10 Olivia with an ordinary 4*, and projects that the remaining Olivia with have the new natures.
