Merging Cordelia

With the inclusion of Airzura, my Atk+/HP- Cordelia pretty much nukes everything that isn't a strong green unit thanks to having Death Blow 3 and the inclusion of the Heavy Blade seal.

However, I recently pulled a Spd+/HP- 5-star Cordelia while setting up the summon rate for the New Year's banner(got NY!Camilla first in the same circle Cordelia showed up). Both have their merits like the Speed boon making good use of the Firesweep Lance that Roderick carries.

Should I make separate builds or should I merge them? I think the Attack boon can make use of Roderick's weapon, but I want to be on the safe side just in case.

Merge them, and I'd say go with the+spd for more doubles with a Firesweep.

If it was me, I'd keep one (+atk -hp) and fodder the other one for Triangle Adept 3 or Galeforce. If fodder isn't on the list as far as what to do with her, then I'd just merge her.

Galeforce I can understand, but wasting a 5-star Cordelia for TA is a bad idea since a 4-star Roy has all levels of TA already.

I'll wait for some more opinions, but I'll keep your merge option in mind.

Obviously, if you have a Roy and a Cordelia, then you're not gonna use Cordelia for TA fodder. But not everyone has Roy, and not everyone gets Roy when summoning Reds. I've gotten probably one Roy since I've started this game, so it depends on what you have.

One could also argue that you could just use Selena for TA2, but it's really up to the individual on what they want. I was just posing suggestions as far as what to do with her.

+spd with Firesweep/LnD still reaches 55/43(61/49) which is more than enough to double and still proc heavy blade. Brave build only reaches 52/30(58/36). I would go +spd with Firesweep as Cordelia is even more unstoppable with Firesweep than she is with a Brave.

Seems to be the optimal choice, so I guess I'll be merging my Atk+ into the Spd+(but after I fodder Roderick and learning the Firesweep Lance+ to save time).

Also, Death Blow 3 or Swift Sparrow 2? I got an extra Ayra that can be foddered for SS2, though DB3 makes her hit harder.

Swift Sparrow would be the better of the two. You gain +4 speed and only lose +2 atk. The above stats were including Life and Death(for Firesweep) so she still needs that little bit of extra speed.

If you really want to devote to a flier emblem team, I'd say merge to try to quad with her brave lance. However, if you aren't going for a flier emblem, then i'd say build them separately. Your idea with the fire sweep build is pretty good and would be interesting to run on her(either atk+ for more sheer damage, or spe+ for more doubling), but at the same time Cordelia is godly with a brave lance+.

I like to keep them all-around to make them fit on any team. Making an extra Cordelia doesn't sound too bad, that way I can keep my nuke. At the same time though, I can't deny the chance of making her stronger with a merge.

Thanks for all the help, guys and gals. I think I'll go with the Spd+ since Speed is the most important stat in every game mode. The merge will probably also boost her power, so good things all around. She'll be using Death Blow 3 for a while until I can get more Great Scarlet Badges and feathers to promote Hana for her LnD3.
