Merge unit and inherit skill

I built a Xander 5* (a) learned Quick Riposte and Hone Calvary. If I have a Xander 5* (b) learned Reposition, Bonfire and merge (b) into (a). Does (a) has skills which (b) learned or (a) has to use SP to learn Reposition and Bonfire again?
