Merge Surtr or Use as Fodder

I was lucky enough to pull 3 Surtrs with the 150 orbs I've been saving up for the past month and a half. Would it be worth merging him for +2 or should I use him as fodder? If I can save up some more orbs, I may continue to try and pull more of him.

I was thinking of giving Fallen Robin steady stance 4 to replace Close Def 3. That built in guard is too good.

Personally I'd fodder.
Robin is indeed a good choice for steady stance 4 (just make sure to fodder a steady stance 1 from Silas first)

Another unit that really likes it is Xander, who can focus real well on countering physical units with it

Idk... most of the time I say fodder, and his A skill is amazing, but merging him isn’t bad either especially if you plan to get more. He is that good.

Tell me about it! I started great in the fire and ice banner, but I keep getting pity blues despite going all green like Ephraim and Nephy. Such a bummer!
