Merge or Fodder Chrom

I wanted to make a Awakening themed team that currently consists of Chrom, Nowi, F Robin, and PA Olivia/regular Olivia. I have also made a Def+ Spd- Chrom 5 stars and I am not sure whether to keep him for Aether fodder or merge him with my Atk+ Res- Chrom who I already built. Thank you.

If you’re going to use him as part of a regular team I’d merge him, but it really depends on you. Do you have a unit you want to give aether to?
I personally don’t like aether on units for scoring purposes, other than on those who are built to use it well. I don’t feel it’s necessary for tier 20, in most cases it is a hinderance rather than a help.

I would merge him, never knows when IS will let us refine Falchion.

I just refined my +6 Sanaki weapon, and she is a monster now! (she was my ultimate pity breaker)
