Merge or fodder

I have 2 hector (+atk -def and +def -hp) i was wondering if i should keep one and the other is for fodder or i merge
(I have already built the +atk -def one because i got him first)

Hi!

This is a toughie. Personally, I would say the +DEF one, as a bane in defense hurts both his tanking capability and his Ignis/Bonfire damage. (I'm assuming you mean normal Hector, but this goes for any Hector.)

It's hard to throw away a +ATK unit, especially Hector, so this is really up to you. Either way, DC is such coveted fodder that I recommend giving up one of them as opposed to merging.

Yes -> Can consider merging if you really like this variant of Hector, and do intend to pull for more copies
No -> Hector is DC fodder, period. Besides, he's plenty reliable and powerful enough unmerged :)

I will merge the +atk -def into the +def -hp cuz i have already built the +atk (with skills like armor march and aether)

Good call. IMO unless you plan on merging him as far as you can (+10 eventually of course), then he's straight fodder anyways. Due to the other powerful armors out there, not to mention Hector variants alone, I now consider a vanilla hector as exciting DC fodder whenever I get him.
