Merge or Fodder

I have an Ayra, Kinshi Hinoka, Saber, NY!Takumi, Innes, Karel, and a 4* Ares and they all have bad IVs, but I don't know who to fodder their skills to.

I can only merge Ayra, Hinoka, and Innes to +1, the rest I don't plan on keeping, or I don't have a merge for them. I have an Ayra with perfect IVs (+spd -res), but I have a merged Soleil that can complete her role, so Ayra isn't a core unit to me.

I'm flexible on who to give what skills to what unit, but most of my barracks consists of fliers and infantries. I have horse and armor units, but I don't use them as much, but are open for suggestions for any unit to fodder to.

EDIT: What do you think about giving my +def -spd Myrrh or +def -hp Nowi+3 Brazen Atk/Def 3 from Ares?

Ayra could give away Swift Sparrow, though many other units carry the skill and a merge would increase her Spd, which is greatly appreciated for her. I think merging is marginally better.

WF!Hinoka is really nice for Atk/Spd Bond on Healers that don't have many good options, but Flier Guidance and Flier Formation are pretty nice utility skills for other Fliers. However, note that Flier Formation is already a seal, so you might not want to fodder her off for that. Fodder mainly for Atk / Spd Bond.

Saber only has Shield Pulse and Slaying Edge+. The former isn't really useful on many units due to the offensive nature of the game, while the other can be obtained by inheriting Killing Edge+ and refining that. You probably save a few Refining Stones by foddering off Saber, but that's about it. Maybe fodder for Slaying Edge+; otherwise, keep despite his bad IVs.

NY!Takumi has the Kagami Mochi+, which is Barb Shuriken+ before Barb Shuriken+ was in the game. This may be useful on some dagger units, but a lot of them like to focus more on debuffing, so Smoke Dagger is probably more used that Kagami Mochi. (Also, Kaze with the Barb Shuriken is in the 3-4 Star pool, but does require at least 20K feathers.) You also got Atk / Res Bond, which is a pretty nice skill for Healers, though might not be as good as Atk / Spd Bond. Fodder only if you don't like him, and probably for Atk / Res Bond over Kagami Mochi+.

Innes... has got Cancel Affinity and Fortress Res, which aren't that used. The first does have nice utility against -Raven tome + Triangle Adept units, but those are pretty uncommon nowadays. Fortress Res can be used for better Ploys, but that already exists as a seal, and I don't know if you really want to drop a unit's Atk stat for better Ploys. (Maybe on supportive units?) Fodder only for Cancel Affinity to offensive Archers, preferably one that runs Firesweep Bow+ since they can't really utilize any other B-Skill well; otherwise, merge.

Karel is pretty bad as fodder outside of Wo Dao+, which Athena also carries. However, if you are willing to invest in Karel (and your Karel's IVs aren't that horrible), he is actually a pretty nice unit. Fodder only for Wo Dao+ to an offensive Sword unit like Soleil.

Ares should probably fodder his Brazen Atk / Def to Myrrh unless she has Distant Counter. The boost in both stats are really nice and will factor into Great Flame's effect. Nowi would prefer Steady Breath over a Brazen, but she can run Brazen if you don't have it or want to try a more unique build.

Thank you! I knew all of these beforehand, but much appreciation for your time. I was just wondering what unit can I build with these skills. I considering to take your advice on giving Myrrh Brazen Atk/Def 3. Even though she isn't a core unit (partially because I have no merges for her and I have other units with higher Arena Points) I'm sure I can make her a defense tank with her new skill. It will take away her drawback of losing 6hp every fight (Fury 3) and give her an enormous boost of defense (47 I believe and that's without my Flier buffs).

Oh, my bad for misunderstanding. I'll try to give you some ideas, but I don't really know what units you have and are willing to invest in, so I can't just tell you to build X unit with this skill set.

Slaying Edge+ and Wo Dao+ are really good on your Soleil, depending on how you want her to play. Slaying Edge is really nice for proccing 2- and 3-turn cooldown Specials more quickly. One build you can try is SE + Moonbow + Fury / Life and Death + Desperation to always guarantee the Moonbow proc every round of combat that Soleil can double in under 75% HP, or she could do a SE + Bonfire + Fury / Swift Sparrow (no LnD here) + Desperation + Heavy Blade (seal) to proc Bonfire every round of combat. For a Wo Dao set, since you don't have the cooldown reduction effect of the Slaying Edge, maybe you could do a WD + Moonbow + Desperation + Heavy Blade build to proc Moonbow every round she doubles in.

As for the Bond skills, I really suggest that you put them on Healers since they don't have a lot of good options. (Offensive units generally have much better options.) A basic Pain+ / Gravity+ (Dazzling) with a Bond Skill + Savage Blow 6 provides some really nice utility. A more offensive-oriented healer with high Atk and/or Spd like Genny, Elise, Priscilla, Nanna, or Clarine could opt for Wrathful refine instead and run Vantage in the B-Slot to cripple Ranged units on Player Phase, then kill them on Enemy Phase after dropping into Vantage range.

Thank you! I will probably do Wo Dao Soleil build. Life and Death on her is nice, but she also has decent bulk and the Wo Dao, Swift Sparrow will help conserve her attack and speed on initiation.

As for the Bond skill, I don't particularly like to use offensive Healers, and my only 5* healers are Lachesis, Azama, and Priscilla, but I rarely ever use them. Maybe if they add a flier healer, I'll considering building them, but for now, I might save it.
