Merge Importance in Arena

Just wondering how using a nonmerged (i.e. seasonal) unit could affect arena scoring, if at all.

4star Olivia +5 merged has the same
BST value(or 1 or 2 less i belive) like a 5star Olivia just as example. But a 4star +10 is you could say a 5star +5 merged.

I think per merge they add like 1 or 2 points for a total of 7ish in arena scoring
