but I'm not getting why so many people like this unit? She dies every battle and if it weren't for the Grand Conquest event she woukdn't have managed lvl 30... What am I missing here??
1) She's not level 40.
2) All of her skill slots aren't filled.
3) Her weapon's not refined.
A level 40 5* Neutral Sheena with a Res-refined Slaying Axe has 36 defense and 37 resistance. Combine that with Vengeful Fighter, which allows her to produce a follow-up attack on Enemy Phase, and Distant Counter, and she can counter melee and ranged foes well thanks to her mixed bulk.
This Sheena is an extremely bad example of what she could be.
She is loved due to her crazy overall bulk. People start a merge project on Sheena because of her high Def and Res. A Sheena with no investment and no merged, well it's the end for her. Premium skills are there to make her a tough unit to defeat in arena when facing no her. Such as Distant Counter and vengeful fighter combo, this combination of skills is lethal if she Ignis or Glacies.
When I first started the game, I had a 4 star Nowi.
She was absolute garbage for the story and didn't contribute to the team so I ended up scrapping her.
That was before I found out this site and read about her and realized that her 4 star version alongside the skills I gave her made her weak and didn't show her potential.
Sheena is the same. Her low attack and lack of abilities as a 4 star put off a lot of people but when you invest into her she becomes worth it.
I thought she was terrible at 4 star as well. I promoted and merged her a few times, refined her weapon, gave her steady breath, wary fighter, bonfire. She is an amazing tank now, almost no unit can ORKO her. 3 turn specials proc everytime she is hit. I might give her a defensive special and smoke skills so she can weaken units for my bonus unit to mop up.
