Mathilda SI

Got this pretty decent 4* Mathilda with - hp + atk IVs but since she's not that good of a unit per se i was thinking of using SI to give away her stuff. The real problem comes from the fact that CA3 is only 5* like Ridersbane+- The only thing that is salvageable in 4* is her hone atk. Should i wait and bring her to 5* to give away either her weapon or CA3 or just go for Hone atk3 the Ridersbane and CA2?

Give Hone Attack to someone. Ridersbane is gimmicky. It's only good for a couple of PvE situations where you know you're going to face a bunch of cavalry. The problem isn't really damaging Cavalry after all: it's getting to them and attacking them before they wipe the floor with you. The single time I saw an effective Ridersbane build in Arena was this highly merged Effie with Ridersbane, Wary Fighter, and Distant Counter. It was actually pretty amazing.

Cancel Affinity IMO is only worth it on Firesweep Bow builds where other B skills don't really matter.

BTW: I am currently sitting on *8* 4 star Mathildas and a 5 star. lol This game will not stop giving me Mathildas. If only one or two of them were Effies or Cordelias. ;_;

9 Mathildas... with that you could merge them 8 times and with the right IVs and A skill, she is actually really usable. E.g. having an IV-spread of +Atk -Res and a +8 merge, she will have 39HP 35/35/24/34 without a weapon.

Yeah, but then I would have invested 160,000 feathers into a merged Mathilda lol. I could push the 5 star's Ridersbane+ onto the merged 4 star unit always.

My 5 star one actually has fairly ideal +Atk/-Def IVs (she's a dumpster fire defensively to begin with, so it's better to dump that than Res IMO).
