Main threats in current arena meta
Which units should my Arena team be focused to deal with?
Answers
Depend on your Arena tier but the main units threat are :
- B!lyn / Reinhard : Still annoying and you should get a unit to deal with them by now
- Armored units : they are getting more and more common due to high best and the fact that we have more dangerous options than before
- Swords : They are making a comeback with units like Ayra, Mia, Soleil, BK. Things like Ayra can actually kill some blue units that's why you gotta be carefull

if you were lucky then Rhajat. She takes care of so many threats in arena. all you have to do is Keep her alive.
A threat and a big help as well is Fjorm. I find her base build in def Teams which is really annoying when you try to hit her with high magical damage. But glacies QR build helped me annihilate full armor buffed Units like Effie and BK

Mainly
* Reinhart
* BLyn
* WoM Dancers
* Any combination of those three
* Dragons. You need to have a reliable check to most of them. Be it Naga or Falchion. They are unkillable.
Some other threats I've seen, less though
* WoM armors
* DC armors
* Armors anyway. They are strong, can march through forests, resist many things. Eat you alive
* Guidance teams (beware the fliers)
Colour advantage should guide you through everything else :)

Focusing on team synergy is how I think you should go about it, it’s much easier to make a good generalised team that can cover each other’s weaknesses than it is to focus on Arena match-ups. Guess it’s kind of like Pokemon in that sense.
However to answer your question, the popular heroes that can easily end your run and can be checked with counters are things like Brave Lyn, Reinhardt, Ayra, Black Knight, Brave Ike, Dragons, and Healers. Whilst Dancers are by far one of the biggest threats, they don’t have any counters.
Brave Ike, Healers, and Dragons don’t have the ability to instantly end you run but they can be very difficult to deal with without a proper answer, units like Black Knight, Hector, or Ayra are like the aforementioned in the way that they don’t instantly screw you over, however unlike the others they can easily punish your mistakes and force a surrender or ruin your score without any effort at all, and coming to Reinhardt, Lyn, and Dancers, these units can completely ruin you in no more than half a turn or completely screw you over with no way out, not to mention how you’ll see them on most teams in most tiers and levels of Arena. Whilst packing a counter for Reinhardt and Lyn is possible and advised, Dancers don’t face this issue at all since their strengths don’t come from their stats but rather from their skills and unpredictability (WoM and Dance/Sing). Since no unit directly counters a dancer, the only counter a dancer really has is you, the player.

That would depend on the score your team can actually get.
If you have a bunch of merges and can actually get more than 710 per match, the need to focus on lyn and reinhardt diminishes greatly, and instead it might be best to focus on dragons, specially nowi and tiki, and maybe ayra.
Otherwise, you are going to need counters for the horse cancer.

Brave Lyn and Reinhardt (I'd recommend a Green Raven tome TA user who can tank and kill both, such as Cecilia)
and of course the increasingly used Wings of Mercy +tank build. It's especially common with reds like Black Knight, Sigurd, and Eldigan, or Greens like Brave Ike, Dorcas, and Hector, paired with Performance Azura.
Other than that, as long as you have decent representatives of the 3 colors for advantages against every possible opponent, I think you're about set.

Reinhardt and B!Lyn are your main meta-shapers at almost every level of arena (except the higher end of tier 20 - I still see them constantly as a I vacillate between tier 19 and tier 20, so close to sticking last week!).
Dragons are a lot more common now that Lightning Breath++ is a thing. Fae and Nowi are the chief threats there. I see Nowi more often on defense teams. They are much easier to kill in enemy phase than in player phase, as long as you either have a fast unit or a QR unit that has triangle advantage. Fae can check Nowi, otherwise you have a number of other options in green as long as they have QR (Hector, Dorcas, etc.) Your red unit is likely a fast sword and should therefore be okay tanking Fae as long as it isn't running L&D and/or hasn't taken damage from other sources first.
Other than that, you want to always check every enemy unit for four things: distant counter, WoM, close counter (mainly just on the ranged armors), and breaker skills. These can all ruin your day, particularly when WoM is on a dancer, which has always been and will always be pretty common.
I see a lot of heavily-merged Ninos and more and more Julia/Deirdre. It is a good idea to have a unit with panic ploy (either C-skill or sacred seal) to deal with the former. Julia / Deirdre should be relatively easy to handle.
Finally, both colors of Ike should be approached very cautiously as they will very often tank your first blow and then wipe you out with Aether on enemy phase.
