Personally i would get brave Lucina, brave Lynn, Mia, and a dancer. I don't know their boons and banes so i don't know if they're good

That's a great Blucina, she can be your buffer if you'd like, but she can handle herself just fine in fights. +3atk/spd and having drive spd would make Mia a monster even if she is neutral, as well as Lynn. For dancer Flyzura with B slot wings of mercy and Guidance seal would work great for an all infantry team if you'd swap Lynn for another colorless or mage

Report

By the way i suggest Blucina and Mia because they're good units and because they have nice base kits. The most you'll have to invest in is Flyzura. Her mobility probably makes her one of the better dancers for the Guidance seal

Without knowing your full skillsets, I'd hazard the guess you'd want to use Female Corrin if able. Flyzura or Performing Azura would be a good dancer to add in to the mix. From there, a good red mage such as your built Celica, Lilina or Sanaki could be a good 3rd side of the triangle. Celica tends to be the stronger of the 3.

That affords you the option of going with any 4th unit you'd want for Arena Bonuses or for coverage of a challenge map. Hope that offers some ground to start on!

My advice would be highly dependent on skill sets, as well as merges. An arena team does not have to be a team you use outside the arena as well. My defense team is strictly for arena defense use, and I have an arena offense team for said reason only as well.

I have trouble with skill inhertance honestly and rely on PM1 or game press but unfortunately gamepress doesn’t seem to have the most accurate builds for each character so I don’t fully trust the builds, no offence to the people who made the builds

A rule of thumb on SI: high SP value, high arena score. Low SP value, low arena score. Same with seals. Anything that isn’t a generic attack seal that can be upgraded is worth more than the other available seals. But ploys, CD/DD, attack smoke, and QR are ones that hold the highest weight right now (correct me if I am wrong/add to said list, anyone else). Merges are also important in score determination. BST (rating) is critical as well.

The unit hierarchy based on movement from highest to lowest is armor>infantry~=fliers>>>>>cavalry.

As for units in general, dragons score higher than infantry/fliers, and mages are on the low end. Dancers are questionable unless they are at a high merge.

As a good general rule I like to run two units who are melee and two ranged and cover the weapon triangle. Mine consists of a Red Sword, Green Axe, Blue Tome, and a Staff Unit. Or another example would be Red Tome, Blue Lance, Green Tome, and a dancer like Olivia.

I understand what you mean although the reason I’m always so troubled with team building is due to the fact that my heroes don’t exactly have the most amazing builds and synergy.

Synergy is vital, as is having the right units. My main arena defense core is Ayra/Fjorm/Michalis/bonus. My main offense is Ayra/Fjorm/Julia/bonus. Ayra has +3 merged, Fjorm is +1 merged with attack boon resistance bane, Michalis is +4 merged, and Julia is +1 merged with attack boon resistance bane (works better with dragons and still destroys Reinhardt). You need to consider the meta and build an offense team to handle it, whilst doing the same for your defense team. I don’t run anything special. My Ayra has her entire base kit with Reposition and drive spd 2 with a speed 3 seal. Fjorm uses hers as well with draw back and QR seal. Michalis was a budget build with no 5* SI, but he hits like a 40 ton tank. Julia required draw back, fury, G tomebreaker 3, and Hone Atk 3 with an attack 3 seal. And even my bonus units have no significant SI. Literally 0 of my arena units required 5* skills not in their base kit, it just required ridiculous luck for 4 Ayras, 2 Julias, and an extra Fjorm, as well as fodder skills from units like Corrin F, Henry, Hinata, Henry again, Tailtiu, Subaki, and 3* positional skills from sully and barst/Selena. It’s good enough for me to stay hopping between tier 19 and 20 every season. I have not dropped below that since coming up with these teams in December.
