(M) Corrin, surprisingly good?

I've been thinking a lot about how to best support the weekly bonus unit for arena, and this lead me to a nice surprise. It's just too easy to overlook this guy within the massive red sword pool. I was thinking about picking Marth for my next merge project, but for the specific purpose of being a cheerleader I realized Corrin can do it much much better. The only thing that really needs setup will be achieving S support with the bonus every two weeks, which really isn't that much of a chore. Especially, when the bonus unit will receive a nice +9 to Atk/Spd, and +6 to Def/Res as invisible buffs. Add a +6 Atk visible buff ontop of that from Rally Atk+, were talking about some serious stat bonus. Think I found my next merge project!

Remember, it might be a good idea to wait for 3.0 to reveal first.

I’m not planning on building him right away. I still have a Fae and Soren at +7 that I need to take care of first. If I do, it will surely be after 3.0

However, this also makes me think again about the Akr trio. I’ve never even bothered to promote any of them to 5* but with a full arena core full of cheerleaders to buff + de buff it actually sounds easy to get 4 kills per round with the bonus unit. Just might be the extra edge they really need to shine. I’ve always depended on having another bonus unit, but investing in the Akr Trio is sounding more interesting to me.

He's better than Marth for only ONE unit, and you need to SS support him with a new unit every 2 weeks, or more if the first bonus you choose isn't that good.
