Lyon, blue or green mage?

Probably neither.
Naglfar is a dark Tome and will therefore probably be a Red Tome.
I'd personally like him to be a Green Tome user tho.

I too would like anything other than red because the red pool is oversaturated as it is. This is probably because few mages in the series specialize in wind magic (the only ones I know are Soren and Merric) and thus there are not many green mages. Additionally, many potential blue mages like Lucius and Serra also got shafted into staff user, and this may continue if we ever get the likes of Rhys, L'Arachel, or Natasha.

Well, light magic used to be a thing back in ye olde games. So blue mages coming around would be Artur or potentially Pheros. I wish they would bring back the trinity of magic in the newer games.

Definitely and undoubtedly red.
Red: Fire>Elfire>Bolganone>Bolganone+ and Flux>Ruin>Fenrir>Fenrir+
Blue: Thunder>Elthunder>Thoron>Thoron+ and Light>Ellight>Shine>Shine+
Green: Wind>Elwind>Rexcalibur>Rexcalibur+ and SHOULD BE Blizzard>Elblizzard>Fimbulvetr>Fimbulvetr+ BUT Gunnthra botched it.

I don't think the Red Tome Pool is saturated...for good red tome user's, we have Celica, Tharja, Sanaki and Arvis and that's it. If you lump swords into the fray sure but I don't think having a lot of swords means Red tomes are saturated as well. If anything, the blue tome pool is being oversaturated already.

He will definitely be a red Mage. I’m so excited that he’s coming. I can’t wait to get him. :)

I find it funny you dont think he could be red even though all dark mages so far have been red. :p I'd take him green as there is currently lack of green mages. Hopefully Saleh will be green once he comes.
