Lyn IVs

I was SO excited when I saw three reds summoning from Hero Fest since I really want Ryoma. Unfortunately I didn't get him, but I got ANOTHER 5 star Lyn. I already use Roy (and occasionally Eirika but I just like Roy better), so I'm not too excited.

But regardless, I'm not really sure which IV is better for Lyn. Both Lyns are -RES (optimal) with one being +HP and one being +ATK. I can see advantages to both, but which do you guys think I should keep? What should I do with the other one?

Keep the +atk, she desperately needs that due to her below average attack stat. For the other one I would suggest merging it with the +atk one to gain extra stats and some bonus SP.

However if both of your Lyn's have been untouched and haven't been trained yet, train the +hp one, get all of her native skills and then merge that one with the +atk so that every skill learned including her learned native skills will be unlocked for her automatically without the need to spend SP on them.

Well, unfortunately I've already trained the +ATK one since that's the first one I got and I like training my 5 stars even if I won't use them. I haven't gotten all of her native skills though, still haven't unlocked Galeforce or Spur Spd 3 yet. Is it still worth it to train the +HP and then merge?

You may train the +HP and pass over inherited siills that you might consider to be effective on Lyn, but the one I highly recommend is Brash Assault so that it synergies with her unique weapon's built in Desperation 2. Once you have the skills planned out for Lyn, give the inherited skills to the +HP one and then use this Lyn as merging material for your +atk one so that those skills are given to your better one in the process.
