If you want to be a bit more aggressive you could go for warding breath. Should be good with Berkut's lance.

I'd run Berkut's Lance instead of Slaying. That'll put him at 41 res, which is much better since he'll be doubled most of the time. Also, you could swap CD3 for Deflect Magic, since he won't take much damage from melee sources anyways.
