Luck contest ...

I just want to see if some of you suffer more than me everytime you summon as a F2Player ...
Let's share our best/worst summoning stories so we can all feel better, or worse. Here I go !

- Hero Fest (starting banner) : all my orbs at time (@ 50-60)
Result : 1 Marth (my first 5 stars <3)

- Nohrian Summer : 248 orbs (for S!Corrin).
Result : 2 Mathilas, 1 Ephraim (I've uninstalled the game for 1 month after that...)

- Ylissian Summer : 101 orbs (for S!Frederick & S!Tiki).
Result : no 5 stars.

- Bridal Banner : 52 orbs (for B!Caeda).
Result : 1 Eliwood (got 4 reds and one green).

- Path of Radiance TT : 67 orbs (for Ike & non-focus Julia).
Result : 1 Mist (ikr), 1 Hector (pretty cool)

- Performing Arts : 70 orbs (for P!Olivia & P!Iñigo).
Result : 2 Iñigos (finally feeling the happiness of having a limited unit :'3 ... wait they're +Res -Spe/-Atk wtf)

- Holy War Banner : @ 90 orbs (only for Tailtiu !!)
Result : no Tailtiu, no 5 stars, but 14 Est's :'I

- Trick of Defeat : 43 orbs (for H!Nowi)
Result : 1 Seth (screw 5 stars that can also be obtained as 4 stars), 1 Sanaki (used to be my favorite red mage, now it's Katarina). Still trying everyday for Nowi (hard with 1-2 orbs p/ day)

Now that I have 5 orbs, IS released a banner with Katarina. It sucks to be a kid that can't put money to get good units and build them ... (maybe not but I'm still sad)

Anyways, put your best summoning sessions below, I'd love to see them ! Also, best of luck for your future summonings ^^

What is understandable.

Ha! You call that unlucky? Well, let's see: Atk- 5 star heroes I have: Hector, Saber, Ryoma, Reinhardt, Cordelia, Spring Lucina, Elincia, Brave Ike x2, Effie, and Sanaki. Spd- 5 star heroes are Marth, Chrom, Brave Roy, Brave Lyn, Caeda, Bridal Caeda, Tana, Ninian, Raven, Sheena, Tharja, and Leo. My strongest heroes I have had to promote using feathers. My pulls have included 23 times that all 5 heroes in a summoning are 3 star, 5 green orbs all bartre, amd a summoning sessions all 3 star firs. That's even less probable than getting a 5 star, and all of their IV's were Atk-, Spd-, or Res-. Sorry about your losses, and I have had countless as well. All I can say is not to give up. Even with my crap, I can still smile when I see my 6.75% summon rate. Best of luck to you in finding Katarina. I am 100% F2P, but I just save my orbs to try and get good hero.

I didn't want to mention IVs, just because I hate the fact that you can get a pretty rare/powerful/cool 5 star unit, but the said unit will be handicaped by a bad IV roll (-Atk Ryoma is ... I feel bad knowing that ...)
But you're right, we just have to stay strong when all of these Draug's, Bartre's and Est's come in as 3 stars (these are my stalkers) ... Best of luck for you too !

I just saw that you said to put the best heroes that I have gotten. Sorry about that. My best heroes are a merged masked marth, Arvis, Xander, Neutral Brave Ike, and Reinhardt (not the Atk- one.)

Not really, this post was just made to share our bad/good luck in summoning sessions. Idk, just to feel sad but better ..? ^^'

I started playing when the bridal banner was around and I loved the artwork and I got the two units I actually wanted but had a pretty rough drought after that .

Bridal Banner: BCordelia, BCaeda

Tempest Trial Focus (aim: Lucina): Eirika

Summer1 (Aim: STiki & SRobin): nope
Summer2 (Aim: SCorrin): got blessed by a Peri on the last day of the banner and stopped playing til choose your legends was around (man I am still really salty about this one x_x)

CYL (aim: Hector and Ike): nope
Brave Heroes: Lancina, Roy, Lyn(free unit)

Mini TT (aim: Hector): nope

Crimeans (aim: Nephenee): Elincia

Performing Arts (aim: POlivia): POlivia, PAzura x2, PShigure (broke my pittyrate for Inigo)

World of Holy War (aim: Sigurd & Deirdre): Fae, Deirdre

Genealogy TT (ofc Ayra): nope

Trick or Defeat(want them all): HNowi
Long Haired Gents (Ryoma): Karel

Am also 100% F2P and I gotta say its actually really interesting, looking back the banner archive and all.
And I never really tracked where I put my Orbs though I do know that I maxed out on all the TT Rewards since the mini TT and spent them on the related banners and I also know that nearly all my story orbs went into what could've been my SCorrin but became Peri.

On a different note: Peri and her other-not-5*-worthy companions are really annoying and I always feel when somebody gets their pityrate broken by such useless units. They really should work on that.

I definetly agree with you, seeing these limited banners disappear, where we put all our time and orbs in, and just get rewarded with a Peri or Mathilda is heartbreaking ...
And then, when other interesting units arrive in a banner, we don't have the story mode orbs to save us. Also that's a lot of "nope"s, so best of luck for the next banners !

First account: Joined when Performing Arts banner was up
Got Performing Azura from first summon in Perf. Banner, 20 orbs, later got Inigo from summon for 9 orbs
Saved orbs until Holy War banner
Holy War Banner: Dierdre, Tailtiu, Oscar, Karel, Marth, Athena, Leon, Klein = 153 orbs was going for sigurd...
Trick or Defeat Banner: got H! Nowi: 37 orbs color sniping, Merric
That's all for my first account

Second Account:
Started when Performing Arts Banner had 2 days left
Performing Arts Banner: 60 orbs, no 5* or dancers T.T
Threaten Spd Banner: got Takumi from Free Pull
Holy War Banner: Sigurd, Fae from first pull
Tempest Trials Banner: Got Ayra, Eldigan color sniping: 13 orbs
Trick or Defeat Banner: H!Sakura, H!Henry, Boey, 60 orbs
Short Hair Girls Banner: Got Katarina from Free Pull
Long Hair Banner: Pulled Ryoma: 9 orbs

All in All, I think I got ridiculously lucky pulls on both of my accounts.

Summoning is cool, like all of your effort is getting rewarded (or not). In your case that's actually very lucky, I agree. Let's hope this will continue for the longest !

The banner in which my luck skyrockets? Ut's the CYL banner. In addition to the CYL units, I got Y!Tiki and Soren. Granted, both of them are -ATK, but Tiki's +RES makes her a dual tank and Soren's +SPD cries out Gronnblade. The Dauntless Crimean's banner came close, giving me Elincia, Eldigan, Ike, Mae, and Brave Roy. Except for Brave Roy, all of them have great IVs.

The banner in which my luck plummets? Both the first and second Hero Fest. I got two Takumis in a summoning session during the last day of the first Hero Fest. And the only 5 star I got from the second Hero Fest is Julia.

That's all that I could remember. Oh, and I never spend money for a mobile game, ever. Never have, and probably never will.

Cool thing that you got decent or great IVs for the majority of them. I just hope that IVs will not ruin your future 5 stars. Also, I think you can be proud to be a F2P, it's harder but just feels more exciting in a way

Yeah, about that...

Quite a few of them are troll IVs. Basically, it boosts a good stat, but also decreases another good stat. (+SPD -ATK Marth)

And some are just straight up a middle finger to my face. (+DEF -SPD Julia)

Unfortunately, that happens ...*looking at my +Def -Atk Sanaki*
+Def -Spd Julia is just ... illegal

+HP -SPD Seliph. 50 HP with 21 SPD.

But they did give me good ones every now and then. (+SPD -RES Brave Lucina)

And then there's the one that's supposed to be bad, but actually works decently well. (+DEF -SPD Sword Lyn)

Hang on, did you mean Hero Fest 2 for Ike and Julia? The PoR banner had a different green tome user, while Julia was one of the first new additions.

As for my stories, the times the banners trolled me:

Summer Nohr: Wanted S Corrin. Ended up with S Elise instead, no Corrin. Still have that Elise, as she's been helpful with training green mages for SP.

Sacred Stones: Wanted Innes. Settled for Amelia. Still love her.

Multiple banners featuring Ephraim: Nope, no Ephraim in sight.

Wait you're right, I think it was Soren !
Also, I guess if you like what you got (I mean Amelia is strong). But still, nothing can reach S Corrin's level...

Fingers crossed. Need to reunite the Renais siblings. Already have Eirika, and she's my first ever 5*.

Best Summoning Story

Dauntless Crimeans. Pulled a +atk/-Res Elincia on my free pull.

Worst

Halloween. Using the orbs from the November Monthly quests, Pity rate ruined by a 5 star regular Jakob.

Oh ... I imagine seeing regular Jakob with his ... wonderful art ... have to be heartbreaking. Nice Elincia tho !

Yeah. I got a second one of her the very next day.-atk, so perfect merge fodder.

I have been generally lucky with my pulls since the game launched, but of course I have also had my fair share of disappointments. Still waiting for Amelia, Linde, Genny, Julia, Ninian and Ike to come home.

Halloween Banner: got a H.Henry in my free pull. The when using my orbs got pity broken by Priscilla and Seth. I am content with just have H.Henry.

Tempest Trial banner, got 2 Ayras 15 orbs in. One being +atk -res and the other +def -res.

Holy War banner, 120 orbs spent managed to get +res Siguard and + res Deirdre. Free pull granted me a star Reinhardt.

Performing Arts, I wanted Azura, but happy that I at least got Inigo and Shigure. No Azura.

Dauntless Banner: my aim was Nephenee and Elincia, only got Nephenee and pity broken by Celica and Katarina in the same pull session(can’t complain about that).

CYL, picked BLyn as my free unit and could only pull BRoy, still no Ikes.

Scared World, wanted Amelia, but got Seth(terrible unit regardless of IVs) and Innes.

Alm’s Army Banner, got Delthea.

Resonating Fang TT, got Boey. Served well as a tank healer during that TT.

Hero Fest, 2 Roymas, 2 Tacos, and 1 Hector.

Other 5* units from banners and pity breakers: Lyn, Seliph(why is he still in the 5* pool), Cain, Young Tiki, Caeda, Hinoka, Sanaki, 2 Azuras, Roderick, Olsen, Fae, Lachesis and Elise.

Fortunately, the units you got aren't all bad, and hopefully the PA banner will return someday for your PAzura. Also IS should remove every 5 stars units that can be obtained as 4 stars from the 5*pool ... and I agree, Seth is terrible. Best of luck in the future bannners !
