The Lucius Dilemma

So, I've pulled two 5* Lucius and I've leveled both of them up only to discover that they both have really good IV's. One is -HP +Atk and the other is -Def +Res... considering both are really quite good I'm not sure which would be more useful.

It really depends on how you want to use him. With a +Attack boon, he sits at 35 attack, which could be used with the Wrathful Staff refinement to do more damage.

You could go with more resistance and go with the Dazzling refinement to not be counterattacked, to apply Pain+. Just be careful of Vantage users.

I’d say take the attack boon. You could have a wrathful/dazzle pain double savage blow combo with 46 attack. Solid pain game.

Edit: an attack seal and an attack A slot pushes that to 52. Merge them to take it to 53.

I would suggest using the +res with a res seal so he can tank mages. Then give him the no counter attack to protect him. But thats my opinion, I dont use healers for offensively.
