So recently I've come to the conclusion to eventually create a godly Lucina as my main red unit. There are many reasons to why I think she is currently the strongest red unit now, but to summarize it, it's her weapon. Effective against dragons, self healing that can lead to a pseudo-healer, and the refined effect when used correctly gives her the highest combat stats of infantry units that can not be Panic Ploy'ed away. Add on Spurs, Drives, or hell, Tactics and you have one buff red unit.
My issue lies with her IV. A speed boon would be preferred, but what would best bane be? -Hp, -Res, and -Def all hurt her overall bulk. I'm actually leaning towards an attack bane as at 10+ merge and summoner supported, she reaches 53 Atk, which is the exact same amount my current 10+ merge +Spd -Res summoner supported Ayra reaches with a refined slaying edge. Additionally, off of just one supporting unit alone, Lucina can gain a total of +16 Atk (+4 weapon eff, +2 ally supp, +6 Atk Tactic, +4 Spur Atk seal) Thus even with a bane she can reach upwards of 69 Atk (and theoretically more). I'm also super against an -Hp bane due to the fact that 10+ merge summoner supported neutral Hp Lucina reaches 55 Hp, allowing me to run Panic Ploy to counter the up and coming Spd Tactic on most units. The other option is to run Spd Smoke 3. What are your thoughts? I would really appreciate hearing from those that run high end Lucina's themselves.
