Looking at the new skills from the bridal banner

Ninian's weapon: extremely good, a boost to speed as well as the ability to refine. Good alternative to the blade tome. However, I can't think of a blue mage unit using it that could really compete with Ishtar
Spd Feint: Unique, I guess? To call it situational is an understatement, but i suppose units with low res to engage in some ploy shenanigans, and the combination of spd -7 and a rally of ones choice gives the unit a huge advantage in a 1v1. I imagine it to be a decent b-slot skill for blade tomes in substitute of desperation
def/res link: this one has potential given the huge stat boost in defenses. Great for the tanky units that are around to reposition the player phase units out of danger. However, the best two positioning skills, drawback and reposition, will by nature remove the buffed unit from going in to combat with these buffs if used by an ally instead.

Almost forgot ardent service: great skill. Attack boost make it a weapon to compete with the current offensive axes slaying axe ad brave axe

I was thinking in give Ardent Service+ to my TT/AA/GC Barst, he is already a support unit that boost allies attack, teleport to protect/kill, and with Legion Axe+ he can reverse blue buffs. But now that i have Sheena unit with Legion Axe+, I can use find another weapon from him.
(I will keep one Marth, but the other will probably give the weapon to someone else)

If you use Spd Feint correctly you can buff the Spd of a ally by 3(Rally Atk/Spd) and Debuff a enemy by 7 in the same turn.
The difference between the ally and the enemy will be 10, more than enough to help with doubles, yeah its situational, but its clearly good(not counting buffs in each side).
Someone will find a better unit to use this skill, but i think NYCorrin(with base kit) is a great candidate.
Even if you can't buff the allies and debuffs the enemy at the same time, you still could debuff one(or more) enemies and attack/tank they with another unit.
Btw, is hard to avoid the debuff and no one that i know uses Harsh Command to reverse this debuff/s, in AA a unit with Harsh Command can be useful in this situation or use Micaiah's Sacrifice, but I don't remember last time that I said: "I need Harsh Command to this AA battle, there no other way to win this" XD

Ninians tome is a life save on flier teams if you don't have hone fliers her tome combined with hone attack seal it allows her to have a slightly worse version but free up her c slot for another goad/ward. she uses it best alongside shigure
spd feint is...kind of bad to me I'd much rather run desperation or vantage etc and I don't have trouble doubling units already, very few situations it's the best

Def/res link is the best skill out of them imo, tanky infantry units are the best for it. full def/res invested nowi with warding breath/qr seal and reposition can easily move around and use it send allies towards enemies while buffing them, or move them out of the way and becoming incredibly hard to kill herself
also works well on delthea/linde with speed tactic they can buff all stats by 6 and have a drive atk seal for even more buffs
I'm thinking it would be great with distant counter marth/Male corrin/camilla. or any unit with a good support weapon refinement and good stats for dc

You don't need to use Spd Feint to help BTharja doubling, this works to allies too. You can bring 4-8 units to battle, while Desperation is strong, one unit can't do everything. And you can debuff the enemies to allow another allies WITH Desperation to double.

It's always good to see new type of skills, after Odd Atack Wave i was thinking that IS will take some time to give create different skills and I'm happy to be wrong.

Right but I mean if you're using it on someone with desperation chances are they're already running stuff like lnd, and if you're buffing there stats they'll probably be able to double anyway, idk it seems like overkill for and that it wouldn't come in as handy as often as another skill would, not saying it's unusable or anything but doesn't seem worth giving up a seasonal unit for, and tharja herself benefits from desperation more
I got my Sanaki luckily, so i'm done xD might pull for another one since there's only 3 on the banner and she's green she's not too hard to pull but i'm probably done too ><

Yeah! i'm glad they're making new skills, keeps the game interesting~ I just wish they would make some that aren't 5* exclusive .-.

At least some of the brazen skills are becoming available.
Ares is now 4*, and there's Male Kana.
Brazen skills are really good, giving a +7 to 2 stats when the unit is under 80% health. It's also immune to panic.
These might stay 5* exclusive though. They're on seasonals.

I understand your point, I think it's more about playstyle than anything, i love ploys, so another way to use this it's very good to me.
And I prefer to use my whole team to do the work than use one unit + dancers, this is much boring =\

I just want to make people see that this skill have potencial, if you look to builds on this site or others, you will always see the same things: Fury/LnD + Desperation/Vantage. The other Tharja is much better to Blade/Desperation build(acess to merges/IVs) and BTharja have much different skills, i would never pull on this banner if she haven't anything unique, I have too much Red Mages, just because she have better stats don't make me want her!

The fact that those crazy skills are locked on seasonal units, make even hard to recommend to other players, I hope this changes one day, or at least we get some free units with Feint/Link skills(please IS) =P
