Loki's usefulness on Abyssal Maps?

She won't be Veronica as she is the new queen of ftp, but on your own she may be stellar. A Gravity Ploy is going to be ridiculously strong in making sure you aren't overwhelmed by too many units at once which may make her incredibly useful to have for someone who wants to clear those maps without a guide.

The biggest contributing factor into this is that the enemies on these maps are constant. If that cavalier archer spawns on turn 4 in the bottom right corner, he's gonna do it every time. It becomes predictable, leading into the perfect ploy to stop them from attacking you so you can fight those two mages that are coming up on your left side. This will make her amazing at repeated attempts after you learn the way the map moves. Feel like I should mention this as it's use can go beyond just cancelling out armor march.

Well, the problem is that her HP is a bit low for ploying units that tend to have 50+ hp. You'd really have to push more into her HP stat to make it work. However, you're not wrong. She may very well be a monster, one that will be extremely useful given that you invest into her.

She should still be able to get the mages and cavaliers right? Assuming neutral, you can S support her and adjust with your A slot and seal slot to boost it more. Sadly she'll be reduced to a Gravity Ploy monster. But on these maps you usually only ever win with 1-2 units either way. Just give her support skills and you're good!

Although I don't care for Loki (could change in Book 3), I think her weapon is really cool and might be able to help with all of these PvE maps that are just too much.

Well, Loki was the best written villain outside of Bruno who is still developing. She's curious, and her logic is based on chaos, so opposed to Surtr who only kills, she can see reason and would rather join us than be killed.

Better to make chaos for your new enemies rather than those you know can kill you (plus she has a thing for the summoner from how she's constantly doting on you which is gonna be a weird one in her chats)

I do like that she has her own motives and that even though she looks like that she isn't obsessive. I guess it makes some sense she is on the banner as she doesn't hold allegiance to anyone. I hope they do more with her in Book 3 (as her presence along with the rest of book 1 was non-existent), but as for now they just didn't give you much. I guess at least they characterized her more than Fjorm and Gunnthra?

In Narcian's abyssal map for example, the ranged unit with the lowest HP has 69.

That's a fitting number for Loki tbh. Though I guess that one is out the window. I'd have to check the Legendary Hero Battles as that's the one I mean to use it for. If not possible I guess she'll have to find use elsewhere

I'm unsure if she will find use in abyssal maps.
On one hand having Gravity makes it way better to control the enemy movements on abyssal maps what could be a big point in winning most of them, but on the other hand it's really hard sometimes to position you right on those maps and could even hinder you to kill the unit or getting killed instant of ploying it.
I'm really torn in the thoughts of it. I think only time will tell and how people will figure certain things out.
