L!Lyn not that good after all?

She is not very offencive unit, more of defencive unit, that needs teammates around to reach full potential. Not weak, just different from units in tier 1

She has a certain gimmick that can be safely replicated even in arena environment. You can bait reinhardt with laws of sacae which brings you to desperation range where she turns into offensive. Then you also have the added benefit of flier-effective damage.

With that said, she can never be a centerpiece of a team, like Brave Lyn is..that comparison would be just unfair. She is a support unit at best and that's also how she finds her use in my current squad.

I had the same reaction when I saw her rating had changed. Personally, I think it’s nice to have her as an infantry unit, which helps a lot when you are doing the quests where you get orbs from using an infantry only team. Perhaps she isn’t as good as Brave Lyn, but I think it’s unfair to judge her with Brave Lyn in mind since that judgement will be very biased toward Brave Lyn due to her tier 1 status and 5/5 rating. I think placing her at 3.5/5 is not enough, considering Takumi is the same rating and he isn’t nearly as strong. I’d give her a 4/5 at the least. I really believe she’s been judged a bit too harshly and has been overlooked by being placed in the shadow of Brave Lyn.

I don't think she can be compared with other bow units. She is a colored unit after all, so you have to compare her with people from the same color. B Lyn is strong against everyone because she has no disadvantage against any color. I personally think she is one of the weakest legendary heroes we got, with somewhat of an underwhelming build. If you really wanted an offensive green unit, I feel a mage like nino will do better.

I think there is also the fact that she's far more difficult to obtain than Brave Lyn, since she's going to be only available 6 days per month only during legendary banners, whereas Brave Lyn is pretty much available at the beginning of the game if you choose her and then can be summoned at any time, making merge projects, selecting good IVs etc ... much easier.

It might not be an argument if you're a whale, but I think that an excessive rarity can harm some units.

L!Lyn had a gimmick she does well, just that other units do it better. Her offensive presence is usually underwhelming compared to any colorless archer with a capable offensive statline, and in terms of green tanks, she is nowhere near the top of the class. She’s also VERY IV dependent, if you get screwed, she’s basically just a blessing bot. She may be good, but her competition is better imo.

I don't have her, but I see myself replacing most of her kit to fit my offensive play style.The bow and her a skill is to situational for me to want to use it.
