If IS add 6* heroes.
Will you still play or quit the game ?

The only way i can see them adding the 6* rarity would be if they made a new even accessible to everyone, that gives a very rare new currency that promotes a character to 6*, this way everyone can promote character to 6* without needing to summon, and you can only promote a limited quantity of units, without giving whales too much advantage since they would have the same quantity of the new currency as f2p.
Maybe make the requirement that the character needs to be 5*+10 if you want to promote him

How would making it ridiculously hard/expensive to promote to 6 stars (if they should introduce those to the game) make it harder on whales? Seems to me the opposite would be true. Whales would be the only ones who could afford to do it, all the more true if they also have to be +10 (since whales are the only ones who even have a lot of +10s).

I’m quitting immediately. Idc how you get them and idc how much love, time, and money i’ve put into this game. I’m outtie, PERIODTTTT

The worst part is that we know it’s gonna happen; Some skills say “this skill can only be equipped by 5* OR HIGHER units” like oh no ma’am, oh no ma’am, no ma’am

I can just see it being a giant trainwreck that’s clearly pandered towards P2W players. I can just see it worsening my experience to my breaking point lmao. Also, it sorta invalidates all the effort I put into +10’ing my units

But people will be able to *6 them without real money, too.

I would without a doubt quit immediately. that would negate all effort people have put into their characters. all the money whales have spent would be in vain. all the +10 5* a wasted investment. it wouldn't even make sense since ratings are usually 1-5/5 or 1-10/10.
6* heroes is possibly the worst idea I've ever heard for this game by a large margin. it would be incredibly idiotic of IS to ever pull that on us.

if you could split your 5* merges into separate copies to be promoted and then re-merged at 6* but I don't see that happening.

It's not going to happen. IS has a great thing going right now. Adding 6* units would be one hell of a way to destroy it.
Also, it would undermine the value of the money players have put into this game. I for one would call Google and politely demand a refund for the $750 I've put into this game, and I doubt I would be the only one.

I bet more on 5*+15 heroes in 3.0

I guess it would depend for me on if new/limited/seasonal units became 6-star exclusive or if I could still collect them at 5-star. My main thing with this game is collecting the characters I like, so the main reason to want 5-stars are because they're often the only version of a lot of desirable characters and also the best version (even aside from stats/skills, like the 5-stars have voice clips unlocked that 4-stars don't). If 5-star and 6-star units were exactly the same in terms of the character aspect and availability, I'd probably keep playing to keep collecting them. I'd almost certainly stop spending money and only use FTP orbs, though. And I'd imagine that even in a case like this (which I'm pretty sure is not how they'd roll it out), lots of players would quit, so I doubt they'd do it.

But then, game companies do some stupid, money-grubbing things sometimes, so I wouldn't rule it out.
