Linus def or eff refine

I’m having trouble deciding on which refine to give my Linus. The only skills I’ve given him so far are desperation and swap. I have a LnD Raven and a bulky Frederick so it’s not like I need a bulky or offensive axe role very badly. I’m just wondering what the best budget option is.

Bonus questions: is zephiels eff refine worth it even if I don’t put distant counter on him? How about Saber’s eff refine even if I don’t have premium skills like fierce stance or distant defense to give him? I’ve got a little divine dew to spare.

I went with the defensive refine. Going with the Effective Refine makes him into a slightly bulkier, but still glass cannon, Raven. Which, you know, if you want to then sure, but that's just taking away from the possible variety of your units.

Frederick and Linus aren't in the same movement category, so I'd just give it the defensive refine, but if you're not actually planning on using, or merging, Linus, then I'd hold on to those Dews. Don't use them just because you have some to spare, use/save them for units you like/want to merge/expect to get a refine.

For zephiel. Its only "worth it" if you really need a tank and ur gonna use him.

For saber. Ye hes good with double bond (spd/res bond and atk/def seal). Or just plain ol fury and qr seal.
