I just recently finished the Linus Infernal (Yes to the 2K feathers!)I don't have any Player Phase offensive axe units,so is it worth investing into him?

If you don't mind the limited merge potential and the fact that you will have to spend divine dew to get him to maximum power, then yeah, it is definitely worth it. Linus is arguably the best player phase infantry axe hero.
