Lightning Breath+ Refinement

I currently have an Adult Tiki who has +Atk/-Spd. Her build is in the pic below and I'd like to see your opinion. Should I lean towards +Def or +Res refinement?

While Warding Breath is a decent option, it's the only one available to me.

That's a good question! I'm leaning toward resistance because I like to see things relatively even with my tanks, but I'm guessing that it's not going to make that much difference in the long run, meaning she is always going to get destroyed by some nukes(Reinhardt).

It's not up to her to check Reinhardts anyway.
I chose a +Res/-Spd A!Tiki and gave her the Def refinement, I say that investing in her resistence is quite good as it helps her dealing with mages, and that's necessary for tank to be reliable.
+Atk is a great boon, I would say invest in her resistance but the choice is up to you, you can specialize her in a physical tank role or make her a more versatile tank by investing in her Res.

I also like the idea of mixed defensives which would lead to the RES refinement. You would get 24 + 6 (Warding Breath) + 4 (refinement) = 34 RES + most likely 6 RES through DD Seal as you would rather encounter mages more than Bow Users. That would make a total of 40 RES. While your DEF would still be at 35 respectively 38 if the Fire Blessing is active. Thats a great spread espacially when there will be other units that target the lower stat (IS would most likely release more skills and weapons that would have such an effect in the near future since they did this with dragon refinements and Felicia recently).
For the main threats of Tiki I could say either the DEF or RES refinement would help her against unmerged Julia or Deidre because of the attack increase that would kill them in the counterattack. If they survive that counterattack they kill Tiki no matter what because of doubling Tiki.
In the fight with Falcion users she will always fall even with DEF refinement also because she will get doubled or takes to much damage in the first hit.

Warding Breath actually gives Res+4, but I do like the idea of a mixed tank. Which is tempting, indeed.

Adult Tiki has excellent Def as is, so... I might go for Res refined once I gather enough of the Refining Stones.
