Leo build

Just got this boi and was wondering if his default kit along with Fury would make a good build? Since his speed is abysmal I figured his damage would be most used out of Savage Blow 3 and repositioning away from the enemy after attacking.

Fury is a good budget option because besides spd, he wants to increase all his other stats. But if you get your hands on it, Distant Def or Mirror Stance is his premium A-skill. His Brynhildr refine makes him an enemy phase ranged specialist.

I would recommend against using Fury unless you have a Healer paired with him. The stat boost from Fury is great, but it is going to knock you out of the Quick Riposte range earlier than he needs to be. In its place, I recommend Earth Boost from a 4-Star Boey or just a simple Defense +3, as far as cheap options go.

Your Leo's IV spread seems to be +Def / -Spd, which I would consider to be his best spread for the Eff refine of Brynhildr. He becomes such an amazing Ranged tank with that because of the 30% damage reduction from the first hit and the ability to negate enemy follow-ups as long as his Def is at least 1 higher than the one initiating, negating his need for Spd and making Def his most important stat. (The invisible buffs from skills like Earth Boost will be taken into consideration for the weapon's effect.) Combined with innate QR, and he is going to be your answer to units like Brave Lyn and Nino.
