Legendary Lyn and Banner Impressions

Here's my quick and initial analysis:

Lyn's base kit most directly compares to Innes's. Innes with Nidhogg, 3 surrounding teammates + Fury 3 in the A slot vs. Lyn with her skills proccing. Innes would under that situation have 56 atk, 43 spd, 23 Def, and 40 Res if my math is right. Lyn woud have 54 atk, 45 spd, 25 Def, and 34 Res Fury's -6 HP is not really a factor, as neither unit has the bulk to be tanking numerous hits. If anything, it synergies with Desperation more than Lyn's A skill.

Lyn's 31/36 Atk/Spd spread does little to threaten Bridalia as the current queen of offensive infantry archer users. Her green color affinity is a double-edged sword: while it helps against Ze Reinhardt, Linde, and other blue mages, red mages are not as uncommon as they once were in Arena.

Ultimately, I'd consider Lyn a tier 2/tier 3 archer option. She is slightly superior to Innes as a bait unit due to higher Arena score potential and Legendary Hero effects. Innes remains a better Brave Bow user due to higher attack, while Lyn would be a better Firesweep user (though still place behind Bridalia in that regard). Bait archers are in a weird meta spot atm though because manaketes just do their job better.

As for this banner: If you want an archer, spend your orbs on Hinoka, who is more unique, has a better PRF, and will be easier to focus summon on. I'd also place Hinoka about 3 spots ahead of Legendary Lyn on an archer tier list This is a fairly weak banner for skill fodder (Swift Sparrow, Chill Spd, Wrathful Staff, and Armor March are the main fodder skills of note outside Legendary units. Spd Tactics of course is something a lot of people will gun for, but IMO I'd wait for it to appear on an easier to summon unit). If you want a copy of H. Henry or Jakob or are in bad need of dancers, it's a solid banner to pull on. However, we're a month away from the start of re-running the Christmas units, three of which are considered top tier in their respective colors right now, which also have some of the best and rarest skills in the game. If they mix it with the New Year's Banner, Airzura is certainly better than either dancer on this banner, and NY Camilla remains one of the strongest red melee options right now. The upcoming two Legendary Banners will generally be more rewarding.

I agree. When I first saw her weapon and A skill I was fairly excited (+9 Atk/Spd whaaat) but her base stats are pretty subpar, particularly her res and def which she'll be relying on for tanking with her A skill. Being infantry she doesn't have access to emblem buffs to make up for them either. Overall...she'll do if you really need a green legendary hero...but I predict many will be foddering her for the long awaited Speed Tactic.

Totally agree with the upcoming banners being better. I haven't gunned for a legendary banner since the first one (where I pulled Bridelia, ironically enough). I have no interest in Legendary Lyn, but I might put no more than 100 orbs into this banner to see if I can pull a H!Henry or even a second PA!Inigo via sniping for greens.

Yeah, I got every unit from the Performing Arts banner except Azura and I love Inigo the most by far. I've been wanting to merge him for a while now. What sort of build do you have for your Inigo? Just curious.
